About this event
This Independence Day weekend, let's show the Whitefish Chain what the Whitefish Chain Yacht Club is all about! We're inviting every member to help create a sea of red, white, and blue as we participate in the Patriotic Boat Parade celebrating America's 250th Anniversary on Sunday, July 5.
Whether you go all out or simply add a few flags and patriotic decorations, every boat helps create an unforgettable display. We'd love to have a strong showing of WCYC members on the water!
Parade Schedule
12:00–12:30 p.m. Gather in Rush Lake
12:30 p.m. The parade begins and travels through Rush Lake, into Cross Lake, circles Moonlite Bay, follows the eastern shoreline, and concludes near Sand Island.
2:00 p.m. Enjoy a patriotic flyover featuring four historic military aircraft—two North American T-6 Texans and two Beechcraft T-34 Mentors.
Your response will help us estimate how many WCYC boats will be participating and help organizers plan for the event.
