After our successful Light the Buoy campaign in 2019 we have established a buoy maintenance fund to keep our newly lighted buoys working.

We also created dock plates, available to members only,  for members to attach to the front of their docks. The dock plates signify your membership and support of the WCYC, and the club’s important mission to promote safety on the water.

Members joining at the First Mate, Captain, or Commodore levels will receive a plate. Crew level members can receive their plate by making a donation of $25 or more in addition to their annual membership. Funds collected for the dock plates will go directly to the buoy maintenance fund.

Contact Us - mailing address for dock plate



We suggest you mount the plate on the outside framework of you dock facing the lake.
These plates are a sandwich of two aluminum plates and a hard polyethylene core. The logo printing is reflectorized logo for added night time visibility.
For wood docks you can use regular wood or sheet metal screws.
For aluminum frame docks use self-tapping screws, appropriate sheet metal screws  or pop rivets.
Other metal frame docks might use zip ties to attach the dock plate to the framework.
